Guest
People can laugh all they like but Heskey's hold up play and passing has been pretty good in the last couple of games. Alright he isnt going to score but does win those headers and is a presence up there. He needs to hold it up - because of the 76m gap between defence and attack. They probably hear a whistling in the air as the ball is fired over the top of them. CHAARRRRRRRGE!
Chindie Posted April 24, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted April 24, 2012 This would be car crash watching if we weren't so terminally dull on even a good day.

switters
Who would take a pen ? Weimann or Zog with current team, I imagine. Bannan if he's on.
AshVilla
I just placed a fiver on Stephen Warnock to get the first goal at 40/1 Heskey is currently 15/2 i thought his odds would be more remote than Warnock COME ON STEPHEN
The_Steve
Either way, Gardner and Bannan don't deserve to start on current form. Saying that, Warnock will probably get booked and go off injured.

pete165
When you sell your best players you're going to struggle. When you've got injuries to the entire spine: -Dunne and Collins -Petrov and Ireland -Agbonlahor and Bent you've really got little chance. Win would really be unexpected tonight for two reasons. 1. Pressure and lack of confidence 2. The eleven players are as bad as anything in the premier league, with less shape and quality than Bolton. Personally I don't blame McLeish - when the dust has settled and people look back and reflect on the team we actually have (and not some warped vision of Gary Gardner being 'real quality') they'll see that Lerner is the real villain of this season. Pilchard
Those worrying about penalties need not. You have to get in the penalty area for that.

YLN
I get the impression that we'll see one team really going for it as if their lives depended on it and the other team really nervous and tentative.

You would think that considering were the home team, that we would be the one's going for it then you remember McLeish is our manager and the latter is more likely

Still not bad enough to be in a relegation battle Guys you was looking for someone who still supports McLeish. Here he is!
