He will cost less than we got for Kellyman, we are not squeaky clean on this

Entirely different situation though. Chelsea are an external party from us and negotiated a fee.
Washington has been sold to a company with the same owners.

That was a legitimate deal ratified by the league. They are not the same thing at all. Chelsea's parent company is selling players between assets to give one club artificial profit at a time when they are facing heavy scrunity for their beaches or exploitation of the rules. Stop muddying the waters.

At a profit despite not playing or progressing

You can clearly demonstrate that kellyman has got better since we bought him so justify his price tag in comparison to other players as a benchmark

Washington has failed at Chelsea, he hasn't worked and he hasn't played and yet somehow they've sold him for more?

That doesn't make sense for a start let alone factoring in who they sold him to

Do you remember in Goodfellas when they put all those bogus orders through the books of the bar until they can't do anymore and then have to set fire to it for an insurance claim?

It can't be too many years before we see the footballing equivalent with Strasbourg as there's not a lot of money in the French game beyond a handful of clubs.

They had similar records in Premier League 2 and probably similar senior minutes

Kellyman also went for more as this price in euros

Why would Kellyman be sold in euros? The fee was also higher because Derby had a 15% sell on

Washington fee is in euros but its lower than what we got for Kellyman

The fee we got for Kellyman was more or less the going rate for a player of his profile, maybe slightly more than would normally be expected, but not by much, if Kadan Young signs long-term contract with us as Kellyman did then it would take a similar size fee for us to sell him for example, as these kind of talents have scope to become worth much more

As for Washington, he's older than Kellyman, plays a different position, and Chelsea paid twenty million for him in the first place, so different situations

And possibly Osimhen (assuming he turns down $40m a year in Saudia Arabia)

Not heard from my mate for a bit but it was still being reported in Saudi like Osimhen was on the way to them (agreed a fee and contract). If he's now opted against that for Chelsea, that would be wild. Surely they can't get Sancho AND Osimhen?!

Well Chelsea seem to do whatever they want so it wouldn’t surprise me if they landed him but it sounds like they’re also pursuing a Calvert-Lewin swap for Datro Fofana as a backup option.
