duke313
Still heavy links with Luis Enrique, most Chelsea fans want either him or Naglesmann. Think I'd prefer Enrique to be honest, don't think he's that good a manager. His Barca tenure aside, he has been extremely underwhelming, and even when he was at Barca, he had possibly the best forward 3 attack in history all in their prime. His Spanish team played some of the most boring football I'd seen at the World Cup last year.
villa89
I don't think Enrique would be a success there to be honest.
brummybloke
I'm hoping they finish 11th get an unsuitable manager, boli goes bust and they go back to not being billionaires cheating the system. Soon see how many real supporters they have
Jono62
I'm hoping it'll be like a department store that is closing down; no interest from anyone for ages and now that they closing down, try and get a bargain.

Apparently Alex crook on TS was told, Bohley noticed him at the game last night and thought that could be our man to take the reigns, what utter bullshit. Davkaus
I guess it's a different owner, so it's a bit different, but I can't imagine being sacked from a job, then going back a couple of years later, not permanently, because they don't think you're good enough for that, just short term until they can find someone better. I'm sure he'll get paid handsomely for it, and I guess he's hoping to put himself back in the shop window, so to speak, but it just seems utterly humiliating to me. Lochheads twin
Great to hear from experts on Sky that this could be a good move. He’s one of their own, not sure if that is Chelsea or Sky, probably both what could this possibly go wrong a masterstroke!
GlobalVillan
This is unbelievable. The only positive is that he may ve able to unite the fans but how that translates into getting a tune out of a load of stupidly overpriced players I have no idea. I'd love to see them crash and burn and finish bottom half. Edited April 5, 2023 by GlobalVillan
Stevo985 Posted April 5, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted April 5, 2023 It’s a genuine disgrace that he’s getting a job like that, caretaker or not.

tomav84 Posted April 5, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted April 5, 2023 this is just too funny. the only thing that would make it better would be if we had to play them again
ender4
I guess they are thinking it’s only for 9 games and better to get a permanent manager over the summer when there are more options.

duke313
As if sacking two managers in one season, sitting in 11th after spending £300m, they now hire an average manager the previously sacked. Chelsea have officially entered their banter era.
