She is the key to them having stability through this. If our owners had any sense they would be dumping Purslow and contacting her{if she is not included in any sanctions and not sure she would be}

NeilS
Abramovic to sell Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich says he is planning to sell the club. In a statement on the Premier League club's website, businessman Abramovich said it was an "incredibly difficult decision to make", which "pains" him. Abramovich gave "stewardship and care" of Chelsea to its foundation trustees following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In his statement, he says he will not ask "for any loans to be repaid" and proceeds of the sale would be donated to war victims. Earlier on Wednesday, Billionaire Hansjorg Wyss had told Swiss newspaper Blick he had been offered the chance to buy the west London club.

They lost £154m last year - Abramovich keeps them healthy.

Nigel Posted March 2, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted March 2, 2022 This could well be the end of Chelsea as a super club, that kind of owner doesn't come around often. Just a regular billionaire for them now!

Just a regular billionaire for them now! They're already too big to revert to the way they were before. Their fanbase too big, their revenue too big. They just probably won't be PSG/City tier anymore, but they'll always be challenging for trophies/top 4.
useless
They were challenging for top four and trophies before Abramovich made the scene, if he leaves and they get sold to a regular billionaire they will probably eventually go back to that, maybe similar to what Tottenham are. Despite their success they're nothing like a Man Utd or Liverpool type club that can be an elite team without a mega rich benefactor.

They were getting spanked every season by arsenal before roman came in. Hopefully they get terrible owner gives us a chance to catch them in next ten years. Its very very unlikely they will get another owner like roman
