pete165
I predict that after tomorrow's game we'll be safe. Why? Because I fancy West Brom to win at Bolton.
chappy
Just been looking at the table, really quite worried again. I think it is going to go down to next Sunday.
Mantis
If Bolton or QPR lose tomorrow does that make us virtually safe (barring a massive swing in goal difference)?

romavillan Posted May 5, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted May 5, 2012 we need to hope that tottenham don't deal with the opportunity to go third very well and we get a point or better. otherwise we could be on the end of a proper beating tomorrow. if qpr and bolton win, then we are in deep shit. CI
Things are about to get worse before they get better So prepare yourselves You don't half talk some rubbish sometimes. What does that even mean? Are you stating that we're definitely going to be relegated in your opinion, despite that facts are on our side like QPR's poor away record and Man City's amazing home form this season? Add to that that QPR will also need to pick up points from their other game which isn't a given and Bolton will too. It's all still up in the air at the moment, no-one knows what will happen but it's looking more favorable that we'll stay up than go down so stop being such a drama-queen. In five minutes you'll have changed your opinion anyway. I think he is trying to say that we will probably lose to Spurs and both Bolton and QPR may win so will be level on points with them. Even though QPR will probably not get anything from Man City away it will still look worse after this weekends fixtures before it gets better (hopefully) after next weekend when we will be safe. The Bear is correct What I meant is, in all likelihood this torture will go on to the last game & tonight everyone on here will be running around shitting their collective knickers
pete165
We just need to equal the result of either Bolton or QPR today. It really is as simple as that, with the goal difference as it is. Obviously given that we are pure shit at home, we need to hope that one of those teams lose!
CI
We need to take the game to spurs and hope that fatigue kicks in for them Hutton also needs to put a reducer into Bale inside the first 10 mins
Moorski
We need to take the game to spurs and hope that fatigue kicks in for them Hutton also needs to put a reducer into Bale inside the first 10 mins I very much doubt that Hutton can even time a late tackle! Bale will have a field day I would leave Hutton out and play Lichaj at RB.

Um, that's not actually a fixture, it's a result. And it had no impact on relegation. I was thinking more of of Blackburn v Wigan so both can't get maximum points and Man C v QPR on the final day of the season where come what may Man C will be absolutely looking for a win to maintain their chance of the title.
