foreveryoung
Watching Wigan now, its not the players its the tactical intent to try and win the game. It makes me think "McLeish your a **** embarrassment a **** complete embarrassment being part of our club".

CI
Subtle difference is Wigan are expected to go down every year, they can wear the plucky underdog costume, it fits This is when they come into their own, this is their cup final
LeafyVilla
Well I think Wigan are taking the p**s, they keep going into the Arsenal half and trying to score, against an Elite team as well, I don't know what the world is coming to these days... Voinjama
Wigan are the new Coventry City. Which means they will go down eventually.

sexbelowsound
I'm thinking that Lerner might like a season in the Championship, Parachute payments and wage drop clauses, plus the inevitable fire sale would be just the ticket for a skint Yank who has lost interest. LeafyVilla
I still say there hasn't been no where near enough protests to try and rid ourselves of this buffoon, we need things to get nasty on the terraces.
foreveryoung
To be fair if Lerner won't sack him now, he's not gonna lose 20 million being relegated and pay McUseless 3 million to **** off. Also who would be interested in managing us then?
pacbuddies
The fans will only have themselves to blame if McLeish doesn't get sacked (and even worse we get relegated). He has been given an easy ride and there are too many fans who criticise those who suggest protesting or chanting during games. We, the fans, chose to 'look the other way' while everything around us fell apart.

villa4europe
I really hope Wigan win to put more pressure on McLeish. What! At the expense of our clubs survival Comments like this are a bit hard to take out of the 5 clubs below us i actually dont see wigan as the danger, there is a sense of inevitability about them, certainly playing better and more confident than qpr, bolton and blackburn add to that mcleish's arsenal and utd comments as well as our lacklusture anfield performance and wigan are showing him for exactly what he is IMO
