TrentVilla Posted April 11, 2012 Moderator Share Posted April 11, 2012 Thing with Wigan they beat a top side then lose 3 on the bounce againts crap sides. Well they've won as many games as we have.
foreveryoung
We better **** win against Sunderland or Bolton, or else surely there can't be no more defence for McLeish.

Where as Villa lose to the top sides and then draw 3 on the bounce against the crap sides. Same amount of points gained but what a drab existence! darthsimo
We are not in a relegation fight. Even if we lose on Sunday and the bottom 5 all win. Which they won't. After Sunday we have 3 winnable games and at least 1 draw. We will not go down this season. Anyone who takes their (we are shit glasses) off can see that. It's not how it works. imavillan
Pos P GD Pts Last 10 games 15 Aston Villa 32 -9 - 35 - DDLLWDDLD = 8 points 16 QPR 33 -19 - 31 - WLWLWLDLLL = 10 points 17 Wigan 33 -26 - 31 - WLWWDDLDWD = 16 points 18 Bolton 32 -29 - 29 - LWWDDLDWDL = 13 points 19 Blackburn 33 -25 - 28 - LLLLWWDLWL = 10 points 20 Wolves 33 -39 - 22 - LLLLLLDLWL = 4 points Anyone who thinks we are safe, then think again. pacbuddies
If we beat Bolton we will be okay; if we lose to them then it could be down to the wire. We have to play Man United away and Sunderland at home before we can even contemplate any pluses/minuses of the result against Bolton.
Villarocker
For the record I thought we were safe after the Fulham game but I never once gave thought to Wigan winning against Man Utd or Liverpool. I never considered that QPR could beat Liverpool and Arsenal. Anything is possible with the teams below us showing such fighting spirit. We have a relatively easy run in and if we can't survive that then McLeish really will surpass himself at being shit. Those who are saying there is no way we will go down must surely have a degree of doubt after seeing the recent results of those below us. If we lose to Bolton that gap is effectively 4 points. Wigan and QPR only have to make up 5 points. Is that really too much to ask? We could easily lose 4 and draw 2 of our remaining games. That would only leave those other teams to get 7 points from their games. Not too difficult given recent results!

VillaRoy
I'll be extremely fudging worried if Bolton do what I think they'll do on Saturday and beat Swansea at home. They'll be 3 points behind us with our match at Villa Park against them after. Blackburn also have Swansea next, squeaky f++kin bum time.

Woodytom
Our form for the last 8 months says we will win 1 more game at the most. Tbf though it also says we will pick up just enough points.
Moorski
We have won one of our last 10 games the same as Wolves is that not relegation form? We have one home win in 6 months a lucky win against Fulham anyone who thinks we are ok needs to take a reality check. Sunderland & Bolton are must win games or at the very least 4 points.
