smetrov
His results always held up at villa - but I did feel he was loosing it, in has last season. - the blow for me is that in terms of his reputation - he will emerge relatively unscathed - i can see him getting the leeds job. privateer
Shit, it'll be black armbands on MOTD tonight. I may even watch it to laugh at the predictable shite the expert pundits will trot out about it.
Jimzk5
No surprise the emails being on ssn read "signed players and wont use them, players played out of position and negative tactics"
smetrov
Can't see Di Matteo keeping them up. They have chelsea next week - what a multiple grudge match that would be. They ain't bad defensively - so with RDM'S flair play - that could work for them - in the short term. - which is bad for us
AstonMartin82
This made me chuckle to myself... from a Sunderland fan and posted at a Sunderland forum: Mind it took some time to realise it's best to play players in their specialist positions. I'm not sure what you mean by this... His personal reputation was tarnished by the way he left us and his footballing reputation will be harmed by spending £30m at Sunderland and, ultimately, taking them backwards. The Leeds job is not a bad shout, actually, but if not that then he'll be the go-to man to bail out a struggling side in the Premiership next term. AstonMartin82
and another one: Its deserved MON lost it in Jan transfer window. His continual not playing Wickham when we desperate for goals. No passion no plan A nevermind Plan B. Can anyone honestly say they know what we supposed to be doing?

Wot i mean is he got out before it got really messy for him - there weren't oneil out banners, or chants, - he will still be in the running for top championship or even some prem jobs - though his expenditure v results levels will be questioned by the more savvy chairman, not taken in by the o neil PR machine

chrisp65
Nice little job in Australia or Qatar or some such next. Some nation that wants to build reputation, without actually having any knowledge of what they are doing. It would probably be ideal if he joined Azerbaijan as they are currently one of the few nations prepared to buy in shit players from elsewhere.
