Well she was just 17, if you know what I mean?

McCartney (who wrote it) wanted to change that line, but Lennon insisted they leave it.

McCartney would have been 20ish when he wrote that, is anyone suggesting a relationship between a 17 year old and a 20 year old is wrong?

*realises he's just defended the indefensible*

No. The reason he wanted to change it was nothing to do with inappropriateness. It's just that the second line was meant as a 'placeholder' lyric, until he could think of a better rhyme for 'seventeen'. He suggested 'looked like a beauty queen', but Lennon told him that that was shit, and 'you know what I mean' was perfect. He was right.

Exactly the same thing happened with 'Hey Jude', and the (initially temporary) line 'the movement you need is on your shoulder'. Lennon liked the oddness of it, and insisted they keep it.

In the UK no, in the US yes.

not relevant and not true

Not relevant because the Schmeatles were British so would be writing about their own life experience esp in 1962

And not true because it varies from state to state, could be as low as 13 or as high as 21 dependent upon circumstances

Even putting aside my bias due to it being used in the opening of “…morning glory”, I think “Hello, hello, I’m back again” has storming chorus.

Just sung by sick piece of shit.

Bit harsh on Liam.

I apologize for not reading the previous 99 pages to see if Bald Nonce has been featured

I’ve watched a few of these nonce catching videos. I shouldn’t really but I enjoy seeing them squirm when caught. This fella in this video which I’ve seen before seems a few tiles short of a roof .

Yes definitely.

It’s very taboo isn’t it but I do wonder how people end up this way and I’ve tried to view it as some people like big tits, some people like skinny women and then some people are attracted to kids . Most know it’s wrong and some say it’s an illness which some are prepared to go to any lengths to stop themselves feeling the way they do.

Can't agree with you there sir. There's no understanding it. Not just the acts themselves but the lasting impact it leaves on their victims. Being attracted to any other adult, regardless of sexuality is totally different. Children aren't equipped to stop sexual mental and physical abuse from an adult.

A lot of people would experience schadenfreude. That's not a problem.

The problem is how these groups often act, ruining chances of prosecution. Justice would be much more likely to be served if they recorded everything, stood back and handed information over to the police. That said, I imagine without the public attention* it gets a lot of them wouldn't bother any more, so maybe more people would go undetected.

*I may be wrong, but I doubt there is a financial benefit as I don't imagine Youtube monetises these channels
