Today counts as the weekend for me, as I'm off work. I bought the 94 Muller 'retro' Villa top, followed by spending £82 at the vets because my cat came home limping this morning. As much as I love him, he has easily cost me £500 in the last two years. :|

Thats what i thought until i got told my arm was basically dying while I am still alive. What the fudge

In all seriousness obviously I am sad to hear this and I hope there is some way to recovery.

You make me think of something I've wanted to post for a while in the 'Things you wonder' about different injuries being sustained in different lines of work for different reasons and so on blah blah blah but I can never convey exactly what I mean in what I've written.

I'm still working it.

EDIT - I'm still working ON it but I'll keep the mistake because it made me laugh. Yes, I laugh at myself.

Indeed. Awesome!

Spending the weekend looking after my dad.

It's actually kind of nice. I don't spend enought ime with him.

He can't stay awake too long though so it's given me plenty of time to write imaginary football match reports.

Hope your dad is ok.

What's the matter with him?

The big C unfortunately :(

How's your dad doing stevo? I remember the posts about him not long ago.

he's OK thanks mate. He'll never beat it, but he's alright all things considered. Had a scan a couple of weeks ago and nothing's grown or moved or anything so they're controlling it for now.

He's just having chemo at the moment so feels like shit, and my mom and sisters are away so he just needs someone around in case anything happens.

Me and my mate at work were in bits. Randomly shouting gertcha at different points in the shift. My other colleague must have thought we were broken. Great word, satisfying to say.

Gertcha!
