Grunthos
Nuremberg, I think you will easily be proven wrong on this one. It's not a "kicking out" at all. However, our appeal against the card will fail, because the refs will be able to point to Herd's instinctive motion as if it were a foul, even though it blatantly isn't, and pretend that they were making a defensible decision. So, business as usual.
Guest
ignoring the sending off - weve been poor since we went 1-0 up ! Disagree, we were comfortable and didn't look like letting a goal in.
The_Steve
We barely looked troubled at the back till the red card, not defending our lack of defence though.
jimcohen
We need some strength up there, not won a header yet. Right call IMO
flamingsombrero
I couldn't see anything in the Herd replays but he apparently had a little kick out at Olsson. I would hardly say Dowd has cost us as Hutton could quite easily have been off before that.
VillanousOne
so MON thought Heskey could be an answer now McCleish does, question is what the **** is the question?
Laivasse
Based on Heskey's form in his last match, he wouldn't have been my choice of sub when we desperately need a goal, as we do. And that's from someone who thinks he does a job for us.

SilverPeacock
We were by far the better side before the sending off, WBA hadn't troubled us all game. That decision has completely changed the game.

Grunthos
Especially as he'd just been bollocked for tussling with the same man. And, as others have noted, the non-call on Hutton's foul earlier may have made Dowd quicker on the trigger. Incompetence begetting further incompetence. The_Steve
How awful is Dowd? Not even a yellow there. Bad for both sides.
Qwpzxjor1
I don't get the people saying the red card isnt to blame... We were looking quite comfortable until that.
SilverPeacock
to think this bloke didnt send vidic off in the CC Final and then does this to us? hmm.. As I said shouldn't be allowed to officiate our games, I find it hard to believe we get poor decisions when he is in charge a coincidence. Of course it could just be he is a shit ref, in which case I take it back. To be fair it was one of his cronies that made the call this time.
