maqroll
Can't be hard to fill that one wee end anyway.... Strange that it's so out of scale with the rest of the stadium
Skruff
Congratulations! Great achievment. Having lived in Ireland, I've got somewhat a weak spot for them Will be nice to have a team to cheer on in the summer afterall!
rodders0223
Fair play to MON, anyone who gets that squad to a tournament has done well.

DCJonah
I wonder if Grealish is regretting his decision.
sexbelowsound
He wouldn't even get near the Ireland team with the way he has been playing.

If he realises his potential he'll be good enough to be an England regular. England will get to more tournaments in Grealish's career than Ireland will. VILLAMARV
I dunno, It depends whether you think going through the England U21's would have benefited him any more I suppose.

Corcaigh
Glorious night in Lansdowne last night, though I wasn't sobbing like Dunphy. I'll shed a few tears when we do a Greece 04 next summer. COYBIG

villa4europe
lawro suggesting MON is a top manager and this is probably ROI biggest achievement ever getting there with that squad they finished 3rd in the group, behind poland, and probably only because germany had already qualified meaning they could get a very unlikely result, they scraped through qualification because UEFA got it to the point where it was embarrassing not to (sorry scots :troll:) and bosnia were garbage in the playoff, now he's being lauded as one of the best ROI managers ever...sorry to break it to you lawro but the reason others failed wasnt because MON is better and in no way is it because qualifying is harder no matter how shit his squad is, NI MON has done twice the job he has i cant stand the bloke, i thought he'd finally been found out, obviously not
Stevo985 Posted November 18, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted November 18, 2015 Ireland got to the last Euros, when it was harder to qualify, with arguably a worse squad. Surely that's a bigger achievement?
