In 16/17 he had that ability to dribble past 2-3 and then smash it in the top corner. Shame those injuries finished him off and he wasn't of the level needed when we were promoted. No idea if he's retired, back playing in France or still in the Middle East but have a soft spot as that was such a poor and boring season and he at least was a bit of a maverick in our side. iI thought I read recently that he retired but it seems he is playing in French lower leagues

Mark Albrighton Posted 2 hours ago VT Supporter Share Posted 2 hours ago While Kodjia didn’t hit the same heights in the 18/19 season as he had done two seasons prior, he still managed to get 9 goals in what works out to be around 22 games worth of playing time. Plus among those there are some memorable moments. Last gasp equaliser against Brentford early on in the season; beginning the turn around against sha at our place; stepping up to take that penalty at Rotherham after Tammy had previously missed; scoring the winner in the record breaking 10th league win against Millwall. And of course him acknowledging Chris Brunt’s sending off is another fine highlight.
