Czechlad
Gardner had a strong match. He played well defensively and nearly scored. It was pretty evident that Gardner was asked to play a more defensive role while Westwood was asked to be more of the creator. We did not concede away from home, and should have won the match if it were not for a bit of fortune for Derby. Our midfield was very strong and Gardner was a big reason for that.

There have been multiple occasions over the past few games when we've been in a position to counter attack, and so many of his passes have been so over-hit. If he could iron out his passing a bit, he'd be fine. i know theres a like button..but pretty much this. wiggyrichard
Nowhere near as bad as some are making out! that shot goes in off the post and the doubters would be saying how he good he was!? were a couple of games in...every player has an off day. I like that even tho he wasn't having the game of his life, he never shy'd away or hid, still wanted to get on the ball. Thought he did "ok". Some on here are so quick to cast judgement...give the kid a chance!
Villan4Life
Have a gut feeling Forest may bid on Gardner using some of the Oliver Burke money. Edited August 28, 2016 by Villan4Life

Guest av1
Rubbish again. We need to hope Jedinak and Tshibola aren't crocks, because if we are relying on Westwood and this clown we are screwed.
Villarocker
For me he was the better of two cm's today and this level is his as long as he has a DM playing behind him.
andym
He actually had a pretty decent game apart from one pass - but that pass ended up with the ball in our net within 30 seconds. No good playing well for 90% of the game if you then do something that directly leads to us conceding.

Phumfeinz
Can't be a starter. His level is as a time-wasting sub and that's it.
Richard
He's **** shit but unfortunately we didn't strengthen midfield enough so we are left having to play him. I'd never play him again personally as he is a very very poor footballer
Popular Post DCJonah
Surprised to read these comments. I thought he had a decent game and was better than Westwood when both on the pitch.
Zatman
yeah its a bit ridiculous he is being singled out. He made a poor pass 80 yards away from our goal. thats a lot of ground and at least 4 players made a balls from him losing the ball to it ihitting back of net

StefanAVFC Posted September 11, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted September 11, 2016 He can't make simple passes. He either under-hits them or they're completely off direction
