Stevo985 Posted December 7, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2014 I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for the goal. Took a deflection and he slipped trying to recover. Excellent otherwise. Distribution was better today
VILLAMARV
I reckon he's earnt the benefit of the doubt on such things. good recovery though, everything else was top notch today

ismail-villa
Had improved his distribution and gave the ball to his teammates quicker than we're used to. Unfortunate for the goal, but other than that he was good.
CrackpotForeigner
Distribution was better today Probably helps to have someone as calm as Okore in front of you. Both Okore and Clark can pass as well, which makes it worthwhile giving them the ball instead of just hoofing.
Stevo985 Posted December 7, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2014 Yep, been saying the same since Okore started playing. He offers a short ball far more often than any of our other defenders.
R.Bear
He was of course at fault for the goal but for me, it doesnt matter for three reasons... 1. He rarely makes mistakes 2. He was faultless afterwards 3. We won the game so it didnt cost us. Top goalkeeper, top guy. Its the one position we have absolutely no problems with. Rodders
the more I see the replay, the less I criticise Brad, deflection is wicked, hard for him to adapt in time really.
the_eristic
Yeah, I can't blame him for the goal. I thought it was a bad spill at first, too, from the wide angle view in real time, but he was actually wrong-footed by the deflection and had to get whatever he could on it. AvfcRigo82
Another good display today despite the hiccup it was the only glitch he had all game. A stunning save from the Nugent shot aswell.
Mantis
Kept us in the game at 1-1 with that superb save.

That deflection absolutely screwed him - just completely unlucky.
Zatman
was a bad mistake for the goal maybe even a bit casual but his save from Nugent was top drawer and he got better as game rolled on

Zatman
white it took a deflection I feel he didnt get enough on the ball even to move it a few yards to the side of the goal to give himself a chance. Unfortunately when he saved it. ball stopped straight into Ulloa path
Woody1000
I can see what you're saying, but it's a very difficult adjustment to make when the direction of the ball changes, especially when it's to the side that you've been moving across from. We'll have to agree to disagree. Thanks for replying though mate!
