Xann
Cymande - 'The Message' The most complete collection of their material. Brilliant band. London based, with members from the Caribbean and beyond. Discovered by chance in Soho by John Schroeder. Schroeder had form. He'd made Quo with '...Matchstick Men' . Perhaps more relevantly, he had pressed Tamla Motown titles in the UK and brought across their most important artists to play. He was also a great record producer, and Cymande were a great band. Their entire output is good, but the first album is amongst the best in the Soul/Funk genre.
thetrees
REO Speedwagon - You can tuna piano but you can't tuna fish Messing around in Spotify. I like a bit of AOR, but not this one. I don't think that I'll be spinning it again. I think that I need some Leanord Cohen.....
