Curtain Call was just one of the most bonkers tracks I'd ever heard in 1980. I'm surprised it hasn't worn out tbh. That there is the first ever Prog-punk track

It's essentially Vanian indulging his Jim Morrison fantasy. Good, though.

Missus wasn't too keen but the cat thought it was cool, he sat and listened to all 20 odd minutes of side one

Sister Wives? Are sure they're not from Small Heath?

Just playing some unknown band from London in the 70s. Ever the obscurist

How the vinyl is in such good condition after owning this for the best part of 44 years is beyond my comprehension, not a crackle or a pop can be heard

i presumed this London Calling were one of those bands that were big locally but never broke through.

Like Runrig, or Big Country.

I hear that Mike Peters is quite good.

So Tidal today has recommended a new album to me that just got released today by a British band called "Bilk". Never heard of them before so thought i'd give it a go. Quite a fun listen if you like punk (tho i guess it's more pop-punk)

Album is also called Bilk.

Here's a song for anyone interested.

I feel like the album will probably be quite boring after about 5 listens. Doesn't seem much to it. But it's fun for a Friday.
