That put me off for years as well, then someone tipped me off he was just cashing in on the name and it had no connection. There’s not a woke movie franchise Disney toy spin off to be seen or heard. It’s just sparse mid 70’s dub notes. The stuff you can play on a bass if you only have one finger. Brilliant.

"...Homing in on a space-age theme, one can expect an extra out-of-this-world FX palette here, with snippets of the original tracks' vocal channels phased in and out of their thoroughly effected instrumentals - like eclipsed satellites in orbit." Here is the track listing; "Red Neck" "Marcus Dub" "Accra" "A Lie Gal A Tell" "Squash Dub" "Pick Up The Version" "Saucy Perila" "Roaring Reggae" "Still Water Version" "My Man" (part 2) "Disco Dub" "Tricky" "Illiteracy Version". "Wailing Sounds" Not one hint of a rocket, not one! Great Dub album though
Seat68
I am intrigued by illiteracy version. Just assume it’s a man with a very thick Cannock accent trying to spell words. Edited June 4 by Seat68

bickster Posted June 7 Moderator Share Posted June 7 Bought a few weeks ago but really growing on me the return of Laura J Martin with her new album - Prepared. Kosmiche tinged almost ethereal folk/pop
Newry_Villan
Razorlight. (Remember them?) from the noughties. Stumbled upon there most recent album on their YouTube. It's not bad IMO. The album is called Olympus Sleeping if anyone was a fan in their hey day.
Seat68
Just returned from Worcester and the soundtrack was The Wedding Present’s Bizarro. It still sounds fresh. Forgot how good an album it is.
