chicovilla
Got to say the new Michael Kiwanaku album called Love and Hate is a soulful and mellow delight. Great arrangements and the opening track is a corker with a Pink Floydesque opening 5 minutes. Great music for the Downtempo fan. Seat68
I bought this album on its release in 2014, I never played it. Today I played it and I don't think I will hear a better album all year.
useless
A very good LP. I hope on her next album, she strips down the production and leaves more room for her vocal talents to shine and take centre stage
villa4europe
Now go get the Ryan Adams cover album and have your mind blown...
useless
The Ryan Adams version is vastly inferior to Taylor's original. A good companion piece to '1989' would be her previous opus 'Red'.

Daweii
Letlive. kinda let themselves down with this album (If I'm The Devil...) it's still good but not a patch on the quality of their previous material.

Seat68
Second Hand Heart by Dwight Yoakam. I have been listening to him a lot of late, none more so than this album.
chrisp65
this in the car for today Not sure if young Mr @Seat68 might enjoy bits of it? It's not exactly psychobilly but there's a few sweet country stylee tracks on there. But more 'brother where art thu' than surf punk cowpoke slammin'. I made up that last genre. Rodders
in a bargain basement shop and came across some £1 CD's so had a nineties nostalgia moment, and now currently listening to Cast - All Change. Feel like I may have to break out Space - Spiders imminently too.

I will seek it out and give it a listen, I have a thing for all female collaboration, the haden triplets and case/lang/viers are two that spring to mind. Seat68
@Xann whats the most mainstream album you own, like the third Coldplay album or S Club 7's greatest hits. I suspect it will be "is Frank zappa mainstream". Intrigued to know what purchase you hold up and potentially, what was I thinking.
