rjw63
**** me, I can never get used to the idea of VTers reliving their youth - in the 21st Century. Yeah! In my yoof The Bee Gees hadn't done disco yet; The Peddlars used to be on ATV Today; Freddo Frogs were 2p; Arm wrestling on Indoor League was awesome; Michael Jackson was still black. Seat68
I think at one point they were going to go on an oprah winfrey show and they changed their name to love punks. I love The Evangenitals, they should be huge, their singer Juli Crockett is a genius in every way.

bickster Posted March 21, 2015 Moderator Share Posted March 21, 2015 Just dug this one out of the rack, in surprisingly good nick Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark's eponymously titled debut album. Sadly mine is the second imprint so no die cut original sleeve by Saville and Kelly
bickster Posted March 21, 2015 Moderator Share Posted March 21, 2015 Inspired by digging that one out, I've moved on to Big Black's debut - Atomizer. Again in surprisingly good condition The reason for digging out old records is because I've finally managed to hook up my turntable to some speakers and an amp (of sorts) that is independent of my computer. Previously I've had to open software and attempt to digitise it in order to just play it which is a bit of a pain in the arse just to listen to a record

troon_villan
Just listened to The Cribs - In the belly of the brazen bull for the first time in ages and it sounded utterly brilliant. Will probably binge on it the rest of the week.

PieFacE Posted March 24, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) So here's what I've been listening too lately.... Not sure if Duke Garwood gets much love from VT, I have a feeling there's a fair few people who would enjoy his album though! (Possibly Designer?) Here's a song anyway, it's a bit chill out, but it's cool. If you like this, give the album a go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrcCGjIX6Zo Edited March 24, 2015 by PieFacE
