rjw63
what none album track is it rob? travelling riverside blues by any chance. No it's "Hey Hey What can I Do", released in 1970 as a B side to "Immigrant Song". Not in UK obviously as they didn't release 45s here Looks like 4 spotty kids in a school music room
chrisp65
The J.B.s - 'These Are The J.B.s' Something good did come out Black Friday. It's great and there's only 3000. I was a bit late to this party, been looking for a copy since Sunday and I've now admitted defeat.
useless
There's some on discogs but the cheapest ones are all from US sellers so the P&P will be ridiculous. Edited December 6, 2014 by useless

useless
Keith Fullerton Whitman - Dream House Variations Four cassettes designed for simultaneous listening and endless variations, there was a six hour 'mix down' that KFW had put up on Soundcloud but it isn't there anymore. Good album. Edited December 6, 2014 by useless

useless
It's a nice album, although I think it probably sounds best after dark, not sure why, some music is like that for some reason.

mjmooney Posted December 7, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2014 I love jazz, but I'm happy with the usual hard bop suspects - Miles, Coltrane, Mingus, etc. - without constantly seeking the ferociously obscure like useless and xann do. chrisp65
hey! agreed with every word right up until the last 4 or 5 I'm currently on a little tiny bit of a Mingus thing and in the car I've currently got a bit of Brubeck live at Newport '54. Although I'd have to say that one of the worst gigs I've ever been to was Courtney Pine.
