Seat68
there is nowt wrong with saying its the greatest album of all time, to Heidster it probably is. My favourite beatles album is let it be, and its probably in my top ten all time favourites.
mjmooney Posted September 30, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted September 30, 2014 Let It Be is generally regarded as one of the weakest Beatles albums. Phil Spector version or 'Naked' version?

Pelle
GNR- Greatest HitsOverplayed to the point of being annoying. Just like that ginger haired spasmoid vocalist I've actually never listened that much to their music, so not for me. Well, apart from Paradise, Sweet child and Welcome. But this album contains almost every good song they've done, IMO. Just miss one or two, tops. But yes, he's an annoying ****, or so it seems. But he likes Queen, which is always a plus, obviously. So I switched to one of my favourite albums (Played it too many times, probably) (Sorry, Donnie): Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime. Won't ever get tired of that one. I knew you had some decent taste locked away somewhere Still gets my vote for one of the best concept albums ever. I can't come up with any better concept album. But I think the two they made after this one, the more commercial Empire and the excellent Promised Land was both worthy follow ups. But then their ideas seemed to dry up. But they were still a great live act. Tate's voice is always pure class.

snowychap
Originally released by Matt Johnson. Bloody brilliant. Edit: According to wiki, The original 1981 Matt Johnson credited release is highly sought after by collectors. I bloody had that (bought in around 1989 from the independent record shop that was in the hop market shops in Worcester - can't remember the name (did it begin with A?), the owner's daughter was called Gwen - and sold when I sold all of my vinyl for a pittance needing the money!). kidlewis
Okay I don't have many but what albums can you honestly say you can listen to all the way through and in your opinion there's no weak songs? Oasis - What's the Story Morning Glory Leftfield - Leftism M83 - Hurry Up We're Dreaming Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms I probably have a few others but they obviously aren't one springing to mind now. Rugeley Villa
all the 70s sabbath albums are superb but im biased regarding that but whos next by the who is faultless, appetite for destruction by guns n roses is a great album also physical graffiti(side one) and led zep 1 are belters. could go on but those few came into my mind straight away, also let it bleed by the stones is another favourite.
