It takes up less space because its neat, compact and not full of air EDIT: Also, they don't fly off in the wind if you're in a pub beer garden for example

I 'concertina' the packet so it's a long strip, and then tie it in a knot.
Popular Post VILLAMARV
I think the real question is do you sit or stand to fold your crisp packets 2
TheAuthority Posted July 1, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted July 1, 2023 I stuff them into the palm of my hand like a magician with a handkerchief and it turns into a sort of cone that you can stand up. sidcow Posted July 1, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted July 1, 2023 I've just folded a crisp packet into a Triangle. I don't really know what to feel about it in all honesty

Stevo985 Posted July 1, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted July 1, 2023 Almost every single crisp packet I have gets folded into a triangle. It’s just the right thing to do

You lot I sort of fold them in on themselves, then again, then again, until you end up with a sort of long boat or canoe shape. Then tie them in a knot. It kinda minimises the size stops them popping back open and gives them a sort of density coefficient where if you were in an outdoor scenario, it would take a greater gust of wind to blow the empty wrapper away. There’s another thing I wonder, on the subject of canoes, why do so many people mispronounce volcanoes?
