The_Rev Posted Sunday at 13:22 Share Posted Sunday at 13:22 Does anybody know what that chant their fans were singing was yesterday? Even for people with a scouse accent it was shrill and nasal, It almost finished on a falsetto note!

Spirit of the Blues, was big in the 80s (like the club).

oishiiniku_uk
Dyche took Beto off in the second half and replaced him with Ashley Young! Shutting up shop with 30 mins to go against Southampton in order to get to penalties... Wow. Surely the whole fanbase will turn on Dyche now. desensitized43
Booed Young onto the pitch last night. Horrible behaviour towards a pro who’s achieved great things in the game. Yes he isn’t what he once was but isn’t not his fault he’s being played as much as he is. He probably didn’t expect to either.

He has no business playing PL football anymore. He was completely finished when he left us. If he wants to play he should be out in the MLS.
Popular Post Avfc96
Had a quick look on GOT to see their reaction to Young and he is not liked at all. But one comment made me laugh out loud: I had to nick this, made me chuckle on another miserable Everton infested evening: "Miserable few weeks for Ashley Young, having absolute stinkers then finds out he’s losing his winter fuel allowance." 1

It's not his fault that Dyche is playing him week in week out. He shouldn't be, I agree, but that's not on him. I don't blame him for playing as long as possible. Footballers are a long time retired. The Everton fans are tired and fed up of the owners and the manager. That's fair enough, but don't take it out on a player who's doing his best and has had a great career. There's ways to get relegated. Do it with a bit of class.
rodders0223
Their fans were booing him last season. At 39 he really should have accepted his time is up. He's been awful for a long time now. On Saturday, I'm sure it's part tactics but everytime he got the ball it was one touch and a pass down the channel to nobody. It's not just tactics though. The guy can't move. He can't turn. He can't run. The only thing he can do is swing his leg.
