villaajax
Nike have done it again and curled out yet another classic for the 12/13 season. Nice! Reminds me of the colour fill options in Microsoft Powerpoint.
TrentVilla Posted June 5, 2012 Moderator Share Posted June 5, 2012 Dreading seeing a collection of fat scousers looking like they've been poured into those away shirts.
Ingram85
Liverpool Away. Presumably they have given up on the Prem and are instead focusing their attention on winning the Tour de France. Good lord that is horrendous, looks like a bloody wet suit! Hang on a minute, who are they thinking of signing? This guy?........

islingtonclaret
Every bespoke strip by Nike for the forthcoming season for the big teams is **** atrocious!
villaajax
Every bespoke strip by Nike for the forthcoming season for the big teams is **** atrocious! I hate how Nike are now doing 'authentic' as well as 'replica' it used to be that the shirts you buy were almost, if not, identical to the ones the players wear but now Nike want to make the difference stand out so that if you don't want to pay the £90 for an 'authentic' with the extra holes in the armpits and a bit of printed on rubber on the shoulders then you have the replica option which almost seems like a fake shirt with the lacking detail. I like Nike but I hope Holland make the switch back to Adidas someday.
Stevo985 Posted June 6, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted June 6, 2012 Liverpool away sin't too bad, imo. And in fairness, with their home kit being amazing, they probably won't be complaining.

GarethRDR
You can't put on a price on tradition, but I imagine less debt, a bigger transfer budget, possible stadium expansion and new facilities go some way to softening the blow.

djamfisher
This is nearly as bad as when a club changes it's name. :-)
VillaGoMarching
Can't imagine how the Cardiff fans feel, not only have they changed the home kit to Red, they've also changed the badge to feature a dragon (urgh).
GarethRDR
The dragon was always in their badge though, wasn't it? All they've done is made it bigger, shrunk the bird and lost the daffodil.
GarethRDR
And the new tagline, which (if you're not going to be blue anymore) was sort of a necessary move.

BOF Posted June 6, 2012 Moderator Share Posted June 6, 2012 The dragon was in the old badge. It was just smaller VGM. It has now taken the bird's place.
coda
Disgraceful affair. I'm surprised so many Cardiff fans have welcomed it.
