villa4europe
the whistle had already gone for offiside and to be fair to him the qpr player got straight up i think the fact that warnock was even worse and by huttons standards last night was an improvement is muddying the waters a bit, he still wasnt very good, some shocking 1st touchs, poor reactions not helped by poor positioning and he wasted several crosses by underhitting them
Laivasse
He was very shoddy defensively but that was balanced up by a decent assist. I would still happily sacrifice all of his modest attacking achievement for a bit of competence at the back, which he still hasn't shown.
OnlyOne
He's better at crossing the ball on the floor than in the air. I still don't like him though. The tackles he makes are extremely reckless.
Keyblade
His assist reminds me of his one for Van der Vaart at VP last season.
Rob182
Good assist. Papillion, I actually thought that was a really good tackle - even though it was offside, he went flying into the box to cover for his central defenders and he did get a block on the ball. ROTTERDAM1982
It was a great last ditch tackle.Shaun Teale would'nt last 10 mins in todays game.
Swerbs
Feels weird to say it but Alan Hutton has been playing alright last two games, hope he carries on improving.
chappy
Yeah thought he did well yesterday, don't feel as worried when he is on the ball or going in for a challenge as before.
Demitri_C
was definitely better yesterday
caw2510
hutton has been improving recently and compared to the pillock on the other flank he has been very consistent
villarich1982
hutton has been improving recently and compared to the pillock on the other flank he has been very consistent Yeah you're right, Hutton has been consistently very crap, and worse. ROTTERDAM1982
I notice the LYoung fan club has gone quiet since he was ripped a new a@@@@@@e by N'Zog. Hutton is limited, but his pace is handy.Apart from last week, i can't think of many goals that i would blame him for.Dunne and Warnock, now thats another question. lp_villa830
I think he has been steadily improving since his red card against Arsenal.
BigCarew
I think he has been steadily improving since his red card against Arsenal. could he quite frankly get any worse?
lp_villa830
No, but he could have stayed at the same shit level.

JulieB
Thought defensively he did well today as did the whole team, however defending doesn't win you games!
Denis_B
Thought he played well today too, probably cause he thought his position was in jeopardy from Heskey who played as a second right back
VillaChris
Better defensively. I would like to still see an improvement going forward. His crossing isn't great.
