AdamLL
Should be a good signing. As people say he's attacking, maybe he can help Bent out a little. Walker certainly did last year.
SiDanger
If he is good going forward then he fits in perfectly with the formation we are currently playing with N'Zogbia wide right cutting in leaving space for an overlapping full back. Overdubber
Whatever tactical expectations some here may have, these players will need a couple of games to get it together....
YankeeinMadrid
He looks pretty mediocre so far for Scotland...
steve-67
They have got in behind him a couple of times and he's jogged back. Sell him back to Tottingham, quickly. Actiually, he just pulled off a nice tackle, keep him for a while!!
lmarsha_926
He has not played that many games since April due to injuries
VillaAlex
Well he's always going to be off the pace considering the lack of football he's played in the past 6 months. Will take him a while to get up to top speed.
sonic_bouma
just watching him now... he's either very unfit or incredibly lazy..... looks like he's got a decent cross on him but has been caught out defensively and not looked too bothered about it

JulieB
He's made a couple of really decent tackles I thought Hutton and looked good going forward. Not played too much since his injury so you can't expect him to be totally up to speed. Naismith has been gash... get Bannan on!
Czechlad
He seems slow. Rosicky beat him to a ball and Hutton got lucky to get the call.
JulieB
Hutton's certainly playing better 2nd half....getting forward much more. Lovely threaded pass to Morrision just to set up a chance.
sonic_bouma
he just seems very slow to close people down.... it looks like he's being cautious with his knee not wanting to turn too quickly and sprint over a short distance... i bloody hope so anyway
VillaAlex
he just seems very slow to close people down.... it looks like he's being cautious with his knee not wanting to turn too quickly and sprint over a short distance... i bloody hope so anyway Hutton got a bad hip injury and hasn't played since March. There is your reason. Players need several consecutive competitive matches to get fit, Hutton has had one game. He is off the pace and I'd worry about him next Saturday, but he's going to be an excellent player when 100% fit.
Czechlad
He really didn't look too good. I am a little nervous to see him starting for us in the near future.

ROTTERDAM1982
Have to say after just watching the highlights , he looks an absolute nightmare defensively.Does'nt see danger, does'nt mark space, does'nt track back, no urgency, gets caught out of position. Hope he improves dramatically, certainly would'nt play him at Everton.
Delphinho123
I Honestly dont understand all the surprise at Huttons bad performance. We signed Spurs third choice right back, he is hardly going to be the new Cafu is he. When you hire a shit manager and give him no money you will get average signings like this. I dont mind Hutton as a player but I've accepted he is what he is. Blindingly average.
AngryToast
Should be used to rotate with Herd/Lichaj to see if their up to the challenge of PL, he could still come good though after all as everyone has been saying he has been out for some time.
