Xann
Glass topped hob broke. New one makes noises as you operate it. It pings and trings, not unlike a child's toy. Bit dodgy that, but there you go. It also makes noises if anything is detected on the surface. Our little ***t is all over the kitchen surfaces when we're in the house! Thought he might at least be polite/smart enough to leave it until we were out? Bastard.
tonyh29
cat bought us home a mouse yesterday unfortunately we didn't discover this until I pulled back the covers on the duvet and found mousey curled up having a little sleep in our bed quick chase around the bedroom later aided by the cat and mousey was returned back into the woodland area near where we live on the plus side Mrs h refused to sleep in our bed last night until she could wash all the covers and went to the spare room so I got to spread out across both sides , might make mouse visits a more regular thing

Rugeley Villa
Ours brought in a mouse the other day. Come to think of it, it's still in the freezer.
Popular Post PompeyVillan
We just got a rescue cat 3 weeks ago. I've never liked cats, actively disliked many of them. But I've absolutely fallen in love with our Polly. She's 11 (apparently), is sociable but entirely on her terms and is the cutest creature imaginable. A lap cat.

tonyh29
Just rescued this little fella from the cat in the living room .... took him down the road to the forest where hopefully he will survive ... either that or mousey heaven awaits
Risso
Our two have turned an outbuilding into their own little bird-butchering parlour. It looks like an explosion in a quilt factory in there.

I'd never seen one before other than in pictures. Funny looking things and truly helpless once they're above ground. I was torn between trying to rescue the poor thing and letting (domesticated) nature take it's course. They'd been making a real mess of our yard, so I let the cats have their way with him in the end.
Popular Post Risso
There are our two. Pair of feral kittens abandoned by their mum who we couldn’t bear to leave in the IOM. Not so feral now.
Popular Post tonyh29
Cat brought 3 mice into the house today in the space of half an hour ... first one was still a baby , eyes weren't even open managed to catch all 3 whilst they were just soaked from a cat licking them and relocate them to a field / wood area just down the road probably lucky for them I did this before I found out they had eaten the tent kept in the garage ...grrrrrr

That's the only thing I don't like about cats, the murdering little bastards.

Popular Post maqroll
Isn't it interesting how if you open a door wide to a cat, they won't necessarily express an eagerness to cross the threshold, but it you open the door incrementally, they go crazy with the anticipation of getting through. 6
