honest_bertie
I like baker. Not bothered about if he was or will be prem standard as all that matters is now and right now he's should start next to Chester. Been doing well and taken his chance. Competiton for places is good and Elphick will have to wait/fight to get back in. Edited October 25, 2016 by honest_bertie
villianusa
MOTM for me today, closely followed by Jedinak.
Zatman
an absolute beast again today, Laursen lite at the back (which is not an insult)
ROTTERDAM1982
Only saw the 2nd half, but MOM for me.Him and Chester are good enough for this league. We need to keep the ball better, and get better passes to our better players.
markavfc40
Elphick better get used to warming the bench as Baker has been excellent in his absence and formed a very good solid partnership with Chester. Fair play to him. He has never given us less than 100% and despite paying the price a few times still sticks his head where most players would think twice about putting their foot.
HanoiVillan
Another dominant performance at the back.
sne
Was always a risk that Chester/Elphick was going to be a less than perfect partnership because they are both on the small side and risk being bullied. Especially in the air. Baker has come in and done well, fair do. Averaging less than 1 head injury per game as well!, who'd have thunk it?

poitier
Very good today, I always rated him more than Clark and he seems to be fulfilling his promise.
sidcow Posted October 30, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted October 30, 2016 To repeat exactly what I just said in the Chester Thread. I like. Can't remember the last time I wasn't constantly fretting about our center backs

It's Your Round
Fully deserves his place in the side, a brave, heroic player with one hell of a last ditch tackle. I wouldn't want to play against him, he's a beast!
Guest av1
How many games has he now gone uninjured? is it a record yet?

VillaChris
Easily as good as Elphick at this level from what I've seen from both. Too much praise though...nailed on for concussion v Blackburn next week!

dont_do_it_doug.
He was **** relentless. Beast mode on. Delighted to see him playing so well. Have always had a soft spot for him, looks like the shirt is his to keep. He and Chester are a well balanced pairing.
Mjvilla
Very solid again last night and proper chuffed he scored our goal. Seemed like he wasn't sure what to do to celebrate! Forming a cracking partnership with Chester too. Just add a rb to the other 3 and an extremely solid back 4 for championship level with the potential for Prem level too.
