VillaAlex
What a joke that would be, we're short on numbers as it is. We'll probably replace him with Herd Hopefully not true though and that he's in the team today.
VillaGoMarching
Unless the lad is on 80k a week, i see no reason to sell him.
Big_John_10
Wouldn't be bothered one bit if we get another body in. Maybe freeing wages up for Parker.
CrackpotForeigner
Please let this be revealed as the utter bollocks it must surely, surely be.

I'd rather have Makoun than Parker, especially seeing as we'd have to pay SP 60k a year for three years, plus a sizeable transfer fee.
markavfc40
This is most likely a load of tripe. If however he does go on loan to Olympiacos that will most likely mean he is finished at VP. What he needs is to get up to speed with the Premiership and to develop a mental toughness so as not be bullied out of games. He isn't going to develop that side of his game by going out to Greece for 6 months.

KSV
What a joke this club is.. if this is true.. we may as well sell bent and let lerner go and buy a new yacht. Fucken ridiculous. Get rid of heskey not makoun.
R.I.C.O.
I'm not that bothered, and I don't think he fits into McLeish's plans either. I'm sure we will replace him with someone who actually gets involved with a game. Makoun is not cut out for the premiership.
Supervillan78
The only way this would make sense is if Makoun goes to Olympiakos, then Diarra goes to Spurs and we get Palacios or we get Parker from WHU.
jacketspuds
Palacios is a great shout as a replacement. AMC was quoted as saying we either have players in their late 20's or between 18-22, nobody really in their mid-20's. Palacios over Parker for me. VillaRoy
So many players I'd rather send out on loan to free up wages above Makoun. Bet Petrovs on a wack, Beye should be available on a free to get rid of his stupid wages. We lose Makoun already, then we basically only got young players and an experienced player who only seems to perform for 45 mins of a game. I've been impressed with some of Makouns play. He had a poor game against Fulham, but was decent against Wigan and United. Has been good preseason too when selected.

R.Bear
This is so utterly incomprehensible and ridiculous that its probably true.
picicata
If this is true then I can only assume that we are freeing up the wages in order to get someone else into the middle of the park. In the end if Makoun is not going to be used much then he may as well be replaced by a player that will be. As it is I am not sure he is well suited to the rough and tumble of the premiership. Jarpie
I'm dreading to think this...if this is true, McLeish is probably planning to play hooooooofball.

dudevillaisnice
He doesn't fit into McLeish's style of football.. McLeish prefers his team to have 0 creativity.
