Zatman
Ive no problem with him never leaving it was the argument to why Ronaldo wasnt an automatic superstar when he was 18 was why i mentioned the culture and change of league
sharkyvilla
Still, nobody will ever touch 91 goals in a year, at least not in our lifetime. Even this year Ronaldo's 30 short of it.

Genie
I'm sure there are kids to in under 12's local football who will score more than 91 goals in a calendar year, I think sharky is referring to proper league players.

"proper league" to refer to La Liga is a bit loose.
Genie
How many leagues in the world football are of a higher standard? 2 or 3? I think that makes it proper. Edited December 30, 2014 by Genie

villa4europe
That highlights one of my favourite things about him, he has 2/3 chances to go down and doesn't, he's only got one thing on his mind

rodders0223
Shit defending. Shawcross would have put him in the stands. Providing it was a cold night.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
The level of Spanish league defending is pretty much where the English is heading - no real tackling because it is too easy to get booked. The cynic in me thinks that this change is very deliberate. The product is harder to sell overseas when attacking players aren't free to excite.
useless
Sunderland did a good job of making us look like Barcelona yesterday with their tackling.

Arj Guy
If asked who I'd rather have for Villa (out of Messi or Ronaldo, not Messi or N'zogbia!!) it would be Messi all day. Edited March 15, 2015 by Arj Guy
AVFCforever1991
If asked who I'd rather have for Villa it would be Messi all day. Disagree, Zog is 10x the player Messi is. Even better than Mardona i'd say... Probably will go down as one of the best players of his generation...
useless
Messi and N'Zogbia could play in the same team, they'd bring out the best in each other. Edited March 15, 2015 by useless
