avfc89
played a lot of games for Villa and still have a lot of friends there. I still love that club." :cry:Who cares? I have no interest in hearing his thoughts about our club. Gareth Barry was just employed by Aston Villa. He does not and never will embody the club such as the supporters; and it is very rare that any footballer in the modern day does.

b6bloke
have no faith in Villa at all after the Spurs game and the thing is with Villa at the moment is that they could have a really good game today and win but be shit the next week

Pilchard
They will wipe the floor with us, I think. At least by 4 goals. We can't defend and we can't score goals. And if Pires gets on the pitch after what he said yesterday then it'll only make the defeat worse.
darrenm
The only option in this one is to do a slightly more pragmatic version of 'park the bus'. Sit back, be very compact and look to hit them on the break. Friedel Lichaj Cuellar Collins Young NRC Petrov Delph Young Downing Agbonlahor
Pilchard
Was about to use exactly the same phrase, Dirk! I'd go for: Friedel Lichaj Warnock Collins Cuellar Reo-Coker Petrov Hogg Albrighton Downing Agbonlahor Keep the ball, waste time, frustrate and try to somehow sneak a draw. Friedel Lichaj Cuellar Collins Young NRC Petrov Delph Young Downing Agbonlahor Yeah given Heskey is out, probably go with that, although honestly would like to see Clark instead Collins. Walking disaster at the moment. While Young is likely to be out, so Albrighton will probably start? If not Delph because of fitness, then Bannan. Just not Jonathan Hogg please. micflair
Yeah Id take Clark instead of Collins, he should have been dropped with Dunne.
MCU
I'd keep the defence the same then sit Clarke just in front of them, then Reo-Coker and Bannan/Delph in the middle.

MCU
...and we can never comfortably hold onto a lead without the sitting back nonsense. Luckily we can't fall into the relegation zone by tonight although New Years Day could be a different story.
