packoman
Some great deals, even if you don't really want them some of the packs look pretty good. Ends on Jan 2nd. Anyone getting anything? Steam

Phumfeinz
I got Day of Defeat for £2.99 which is about £2.99 too much. Uninstalled now anyway.
The_Rev
I got Day of Defeat for free when I bought Half Life 2 back in 2004. I still havent played it.
Phumfeinz
From what I've played it seems that if you haven't played the game for 10 hours a day every day since it came out it's not worth bothering with. I got a k/d ratio of 0:20 before I had enough. It's a massive camp fest, even worse than CS, and I just haven't got the patience for it coming from TF2 where everyone just plows into each other non-stop. dudevillaisnice
Since it's a Steam topic anyway...... Crysis is £2.49 on Steam (only today) Good price. Shame they don't do Anno 1404 anymore, I have to get it from Amazon instead.
Laivasse
Portal 2 is also 50% off today through Thursday, in order to coincide with the first DLC update for it (some coop maps and stuff). Kudos to Valve for keeping all their DLC free.
The_Rev
Xmas sale starts today, with all the usual Valve crazy meta games going on in the background. I really hope the next Xbox Live and PSN are as brilliant as Steam are.
Designer1 Posted December 19, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted December 19, 2011 I bought Magicka on there for £1.99 and it's bleeding splendid. The last £1.99 game I bought was probably Kick Start 2 on the C64.
