VillaAlex
I thought he was poor today, and average v Wolves but I thought he had a good first two games.
lexicon
I thought he was very good today except for the pen; lots of good tackling, good passing. I think he's coming along nicely.
NowDoINotLikeThat
Was woeful today. Dnno how anyone could seriously say "thought he was very good today"
foreveryoung
I would say Delph has lost his place, with Jenas coming in for next weeks game providing he is fit.
Humanoid
I would say Delph has lost his place, with Jenas coming in for next weeks game providing he is fit. He certainly hasn't performed well enough over the past 4 games to cement a place in the team. I'd like to see what Jenas can do.

JulieB
I thought Delph had a mare today in the main... better 2nd half but you could tell he was annoyed at himself when he came on.
VillaAlex
Was woeful today. Dnno how anyone could seriously say "thought he was very good today" Petrov was just as bad though. But he scored a goal so it's ok it seems.

OnlyOne
Scoring a goal as opposed to giving away a stupid silly pen is ok in comparison. I would trade that anyday. Still, I would drop Petrov, Delph and N'Zogbia and replace them with Clark, Bannan and Albrighton.

pete165
Young player in inconsistency shocker. He was MOTM as judged by lots of objective reporters only a game or so ago. He's had a shocker today in a poor performance all round. Give the guy a f***ing break.

It's amazing on this board how many players go from brilliant to shit after one poor performance. He was dreadful today, but it will be a mark of what sort of character he has as to how he responds to it next time he plays.
StanBalaban
I too think he'll be a good player for us in the future too, and has been good thus far up to this game. Why is it that for a club with such a good youth team, the only established youngster is one we bought in for £8m aged 19 at the time? I don't think any of ours are on the same level as Wilshere, Rodwell, Jones, Smalling, Sturridge, Welbeck, et al. Hopefully Delph will be one along with BB and GG. OnlyOne
When has he ever been "brilliant". He looks either ordinary or poor. Haven't seen glimpses where he can improve. Now players like Bannan and Clark have the potenial. Would rather see them have a better shot at it.
Czechlad
Bannan at least always wants the ball and he is on the ball a lot. Delph disappears all the time and does very little for our attack. Every time I see him get the ball he just passes it back or to the wings. It's like have two Petrovs in the middle. juanpabloangel18
He has occasional good moments young fabian, but yes was poor today. He doesn't like playing the ball forward which, as a centre mid, is pretty worrying. At the moment if Jenas is fit I'd definitely give him a go instead.
