Popular Post Tegis Posted February 20, 2023 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted February 20, 2023 (edited) Found some old pictures at home from the (2000?) pound-sign protest when we were miffed with Ellis...again. Originated from the old mailinglist and @mjmooneys printer And the origin of my avatar. Uploaded as I couldn't find any traces of that protest online any more. edit: Found an old article, with VT founder no less http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/a/aston_villa/1018139.stm Edited February 20, 2023 by Tegis 5

I thought we were The Lobby of Villa People?

Yeah, especially when they look down at the toe tip removed due to frostbite. Magical

rjw63
The birds that visit our garden to feed cheer me up, especially when a new type appears. This week we have had Siskins, never ever seen one before.
mjmooney Posted February 26, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted February 26, 2023 My mate's son is married to an Argentinian lass called Ani. My Scrabble dictionary defines 'Ani' as 'a South American bird'. Made me chuckle, anyway. 2

Popular Post villaglint
Walked up a volcano today and onto the (recently solid) lava flows. They were still warm to the touch. On an impromptu pit stop we also saw a whale in the harbour several times, at one point it was about 20m from us. Two firsts in one day. Chilled at Blue Lagoon to finish the day off. Iceland well worth a visit even if the weather is more bleak than the UK.

Much warmer than it was in the UK at the time. I never got to use the new parka I purchased Edited February 26, 2023 by Xela
Davkaus
I really enjoyed Iceland but thought the blue lagoon was a complete **** rip off. Total tourist trap and not worth the price of admission
