steam train graveyard

This was my playground when I was a kid. Games included running along the tops of the trains 'cowboy film' stylee. But the most fun was scooping out all the soggy asbestos from the rusting boiler liners and using it for modelling clay. We could form giant snowmen all year round. We would also form it into bike ramps. Scoop it out from the soggy engine, mould a few ramps, leave it to dry in the sun for a day and blam! - stunt bike track!

Ah we had great times.

Of course, I now have a note on my medical records saying I can't be cremated and I can only be buried at a licensed waste site.

Nice to see manners and etiquette being taught at a young age.

I've seen a mum with a baby in a buggy decanting a can of coke into the baby's bottle, rather than having the little one drink directly from a can.

Thumbs up to that mum!

Childhood obesity.  Is there anything more hilarious?

I'm not even going to go down the dark humour route after that story :o I just hope there's artistic licence being used :)

Potatoes.

Must be Irish half of my heritage, but damn, I love potatoes. Even more so now I'm growing my own. You plant a few little ones and a few months later you dig up sackfuls of the feckers.

It's like magic.

I've opened a bottle of 2014 Rioja.

Christ on a bike it's zings - it made me jump it was so unlike what I expected. Label on the back says 'vibrant', yeah vibrant like licking a 9v battery.

update - that's undrinkable, have reverted to Fullers London Porter

and Dorritos
