Little disappointed to miss out on The University of Birmingham because I was a few marks away in each subject from the next grade up which would've given me AAB. Oh well, I've worked hard this year, got into uni and I celebrated it with a massive dump, chocolate yazoo a cheeseburger meal and now fifa with cousins. Ah the simple things in life. That is what happened to 12-year-old Jacob Mason however after a video of him performing his repertoire of skills was posted online. The youngster from Bryn Melyn Street, Waun Wen, was given a tour of the stadium before sitting in on a press conference with the Swans boss. His mother, Julie Mainwaring, said: "Jacob has autism and a condition which effects his muscle tone but he has become a star over the last week or so with his freestyle football skills. He's talented with his tricks and that. "With his autism you can get obsessional and Jacob's obsession is football. He kicks a football about every single day for hours. Up to eight hours a day sometimes. He has been doing it since he was eight or nine. "His brother took a video of him doing his skills and put it on YouTube and it went crazy. It had over 2,000 views. "He had a phone call from someone from Swansea City and we were invited to the Liberty Stadium. Jacob was given a tour and got to sit in on a press conference with Gary Monk. And he was a given a Swansea City kit because they were so impressed with his skills. "Gary told him to keep it up and eventually his talent will shine through. He will carry on improving and hopefully one day he will be able to perform at half time down the Liberty Stadium." Jacob, who is a Penybryn School pupil and plays for the Swansea Brave Hearts football side on the left wing, added: "I just like practising and when I'm older I would like to possibly become a professional footballer."
