Bannan plays, Scotland wins again. Not a coincidence that since Bannan has started playing (from the first game away against Croatia, a win) Scotland has started winning. They are now ahead of Bales in fourth.

Taken off 2-0 up presumably to a standing ovation in the 89' minute.

Why do Palace not win when Bannan plays? He has a 0% record with not even a single draw?

Did you watch it! How did he play? That was a good win for Scotland. Anybody can miss a penalty.

I can categorically state that Con did not watch the Scotland game. He is blindly defending Bannan once again when the evidence, once again, points to him doing all the wrong things.

Would you also say that it's no coincidence that Villa's form picked up towards the end of last season when Bannan was out of the side?

I think that was more to do with abandoning 3-5-2 and switching to 4-3-3 to be fair.

So Bannan misses a penalty in a game that Scotland win against a side with nothing to play for and who the manager said would be experimenting.

He must be worth £40m this morning surely?

Couldn't Croatia have reached the playoffs with a win?
