Brumstopdogs
Glad he has gone because he is awful! However it would still be interesting to see heat maps of his performances for Palace!
Con
2150: It's almost the last hour. I'm starting to think that we're going to have to put Barry Bannan top of the website overnight... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/23882862 Edited September 2, 2013 by Con

Shaw_nuff
Good luck to him, I hope Villa finish above Palace and that Palace Finish runners-up.
AstonMartin82
Mat Kendrick reporting that Bannan fee is an initial £500k rising to potentially £2m. That'll be an initial £500k and £1.5m per assist for the rest of his career then.

The Fun Factory
I hope he makes a name for himself at Palace. Holloway seems to rate him so its a great chance for him. Sadly I can see him pishing his career away, and appearing on celebrity bake off in about 5 years time.
Mark8691
Yeah, lets have a good bye Barry party! Be so glad to see the demise of this stupid thread. What a con job.
Ghost
Best of luck to Barry. He copped a lot of stick on this forum (rightly or wrongly) and it was probably exacerbated by the posts of a certain forum member, but I'm glad we can all move on. Hopefully he can make something of his career at Palace. Another couple million pounds produced by the academy, which is always good to see. Mantis
Who will Con support if Bannan lines up against us for Palace?
Borgs
I approve of his sale. It's hardly a revelation to say Bannan is technically good enough but very limited by physique and, latterly and possibly related, reticence. I'm not au fait with the Crystal Palace team but, as an Australian familiar with their captain Mile Jedinak's attributes, I'd understand if Ian Holloway sees a good fit as a central midfield pairing. ArteSuave
He won't get booed. You don't get booed for not being good enough and then leaving. Djemba Djemba didn't even get booed for that.
Pez1974
He shouldn't get booed. He should be ignored. However, it will be interesting to see how he plays against us. He got so much shit about Hollywood passes will he dare try some? Or will he go into his shell and just play those devastating 3 yard passes in the centre circle?
