Bunnski
Hopefully Celtic sign him now that they are through to Champions league. Can't believe I had to go to the second page of the forum to find this thread. Strange!
StanBalaban
Every time I see this thread bumped, I think he's gone... Damn you Bunnski!!!
ArteSuave
Sorry, no news of his departure but Blackburn have managed to shift Pedersen. Maybe that will free up enough wages to tempt the Bannan.
packoman
DailyMail Crystal Palace will move to sign either Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll or Barry Bannan from Aston Villa as Ian Holloway looks for reinforcements before the transfer window closes. Holloway has been forced into the market after the Eagles lost both of their opening Barclays Premier League fixtures. ... The other option is Villa's Scotland international Bannan who Paul Lambert is willing to sell at the right price. Bannan has been told the club will listen to offers for him as his boss attempts to balance the books.
AshVilla
Please choose Bannan A scottish international with prem experience once touted as the Scottish iniesta or a Spurs reserve player No brainer surely
Con
Tottenham should pay Palace £3m for them to take Carroll on loan. It's another bad Levy deal as however good Carroll is, he won't be able to keep Palace up. Bannan is the only reasonable choice for Holloway. Con
If they're going down anyway, might as well have a player they can sell on at the end of the season or someone who could help them get out of the Championship.
KHV
Bannan has played his best football under Holloway. Would be a good move for him

theboyangel
Surprised he hasn't been further linked to Celtic, esp now as they're in the Champs League.

Yeah because it's been so easy for us to sell Bannan never mind anybody else trying to sell him in a years time after one season with them when as from your scenario that they are relegated. villa-revolution
Would howl if Celtic sign Bannan. Instead of playing Champions League football for Barca as predicted by Con it could turn out that Bannan is playing for Celtic against them instead. Order those Green & White hoof charts now please Mr Con
AstonMartin82
Surprised he hasn't been further linked to Celtic, esp now as they're in the Champs League. I'm not surprised. He's shit. They know this. If anything, qualifying for the CL means they can afford a much better quality player than wee Bannan.
