its how city dominate, they can rotate like no other team, don't rush anyone back, don't over play anyone as well as probably having better facilities and staff than us

That’s fair enough and probably have the resources to invest in the absolute best conditioning for players (and maybe extras haha).

Promotion was the 2nd tier. Its an achievement but a lower standard. Be like City fans comparing Goater to Aguero

He was good in the first half of Premier League season but wasn't world class that season

Well it wouldn't be like that because he continued that form into the PL all the way until it earned him a record move to the best team in the world.

Again he wasnt good the second half of the first season. It was spun that Smith only worked because of Grealish but it was Trezeguet, Hourihane, Luiz, Mings even Elmo who stood up the back end of that season

Yeah, you're right.  Grealish definitely not in the conversation of best Villa player ever - it was **** Trezeguet propping him up.

He was still running the show. Any goal scored by the likes of Trezeguet or Hourihane, he was involved in.

Not to mention, he literally scored the goal that kept us up on the final day.

We had a sort of overlapping period where we went from depending on Benteke to depending on Grealish.

He had very little hand in the 3 goals Trezeguet scored that brought us out of the relegation zone

It wasn't so much that he was scoring or assisting every week, but that his ability to bring the ball up the pitch, alleviate pressure and draw defenders just couldn't be replicated by anyone else in our team and it was crucial to the way we played. Thankfully now we have a system that doesn't rely on any one player's attributes (or at least not to that extent), so we're seeing that we're not completely capitulating despite injuries to Mings, Buendia, Ramsey and Moreno.

I am happy you made that up from my point

If your point is that Trezeguet was a more important player in the second half 19/20 than Grealish I'm happy to clarify that that's also wrong, and indeed laughable, though you're going to struggle to top 'Grealish is Villa's Shaun Goater' as a take.

No my point was that Grealish in 19/20 was not very good in the back end of the season. It was the so called lesser players that stood up to be counted after lockdown not Grealish.
