Tommo_b
Do have to feel for him a little bit, must be hard seeing England in the final and not being a part of it.

I think its quite funny. The uproar of him being left out has died down

foreveryoung
Gareth wants defenders. If he built a attacking team, Grealish would have gone all day. No other manager would leave him out. He's what's been missing on that left hand side, Tripper can defend, but looks amateur in attack to what Grealish brings.

Its not like England brought just defenders

Which is half the reason Grealish didn't go, an why he don't play TAA.

Don't really think he's 'what's been missing' tbh, we've been missing a left-footed left-back more than a left-sided attacker. And even if he would have provided arguably better balance, it would have meant not selecting Bellingham which does not seem to be on the cards, so he'd likely have played about as much as Bowen or Eze have.

But he's sacrificed it for his hollow meaningless trophies that might even end up not standing in the history books. He'll be gutted not being a part of this for sure. 1

With a Villa player scoring to send England there. Lovely stuff.

To be fair, I think a Euro trophy with England probably trumps all of that for him.
