We've now had stuff from him but frankly, does anybody give a damn about what the Bruceosaur thinks of it? Really? Just who cares what the opinion is of a short term manager in relation to a long term signing.

Just on this, literally the best we've ever seen of Jack has been with SB in charge. There are many, many things to knock SB for, not getting the best out of Jack Grealish is not one of them. On topic, good news he's signed, means that even if we do have to sell him at least we're not completely over a barrel, depending on the release clause of course. I'm sure there was an article at the end of the transfer window about how heartbroken he was about not getting his Spurs move and how he would refuse to sign any contract...

Sherwood got good performances from him too but not too derail from your main point
Reivax_Villa
Well it is a good deal for the club. If we do not get promoted this year, selling Grealish for a huge fee will help us with the FFP regulations.

He was actually reasonably productive in those games by his standards though, 1 goal, 3 assists & 1 red card despite only playing 16 minutes of the game

LakotaDakota
I don't hate anyone. Just saying that he only played 18 games with sherwood in charge. Hardly a great number of games to judge anyone on, Not just Grealish Edited September 24, 2018 by LakotaDakota
The Fun Factory
Great news. If you told me after the playoffs that 1- Grealish would still at Villa in September, and 2- he has signed a new contract , I would have been incredulous. It has been a mad few months.
ciggiesnbeer
Grealish has done his part here. Classy move from him. Now the club needs to do theirs and get us promoted.

The players sign contracts then the club has to get promoted. Not sure that’s how it works.

fifamad
Let’s hope he actually starts having a go now that he has got his bumped up wage packet because he has been rubbish so far this season. Jack especially given the wages he is now on in the 2nd Division. What do you mean by "the club" need to get us promoted? Jack has under performed this season and as a reward for his poor form, he gets to double his wage and then have fans absolve him of all responsibility. Amazing. He really needs to step up now and prove he is the player many think he is because goodness knows we are going to need it. A few goals wouldn't go amiss either. nick76
Agree with others, glad Jack stayed, chuffed he got a bigger contract and deserves it. He hasn’t been good this season so I hope this settles him, he can now focus and perform for us now as we need him at his best.
