A wonderful expression of understated acting. As for Bridges, I'm always mindful of the Pauline Kael quote, "Jeff Bridges just may well be the most least self - conscious actor ever." I'm inclined to agree. The Great Santini, Tender Mercies and The Apostle are truly outstanding films. Plus, he was Carl’s father in Slingblade. Of course there’s To Kill a Mockingbird, True Grit, MASH, The Godfather, Days of Thunder ()

Just a shame his acting wasn't on the level of his footballing ability.
CarryOnVilla
Just finished watching Kaos on Netflix. A fun take on Greek mythology. I enjoyed it. Great cast and performances, visually stylistic. It reminds me of Dogma in its initial tone. It also reminds me of the God of War games, mostly the god characters, particularly Zeus is alike Odin. I wouldn’t be surprised if GoW: Ragnarok was an influence on this story. Tone wise, it’s goes to a lot of places and it’s a touch jarring, particularly how the plots are layed out. But it’s understandable with the myths it uses to tell the story. Being a Netflix show, it’s probably 2/3 episodes too long. an other thing is I love Jeff Goldblum and I love him in this, yet by the end I felt he was miscast. What do other people think? anyways, I enjoyed it and I’ll recommend 2

On Jeff Goldblum, he truly is playing Jeff Goldblum in this but I agree, he does feel miscast - if you go onto Wikipedia apparently Hugh Grant was originally cast as Zeus. No idea why it changed though.
sheepyvillian
I still find it difficult to believe that Dewey Crowe in Justified was actually played by an Australian. One of the funniest dim - witted criminal's to grace a TV screen. If anyone can remember the "Third person" joke made by Rayland, they will understand exactly what I mean in the comment above. The delivery of those lines by Damon Herriman is just genius.

The water bottles scene just fell flat. You just couldn’t take him serious as he was laying down the law. Where as Hugh could of had the same charming start and also carried off the evil word removed too

But I say it’s a 15 on the ratings
