Anyone tried Bad Monkey on Apple TV+ yet? I have the first 2 episodes to watch.

I had no plans of watching it but then learned it’s based on a Carl Hiassen novel. My wife and I are both big Hiassen fans. That said, everything I have heard about this is bad

As someone who sees them as a travel show more than a car show the location doesn't fill me with confidence that it will be any good, they're in Zimbabwe and the African ones are never any good

If you like Jason Bourne type scenarios lots of action mysterious plot that moves it at quick pace

You mean really poor action scenes that are overly edited with quick cuts to make it look better than it is? 😜

No! You want it to be good, but it's the same old cliched spy drama crap, with the obligatory Robert Patrick appearance.

No matter how many times I watch Shogun,  I learn something new every time. In my opinion, one of the finest written scripts ever put to the small screen. Breathtakingly beautiful.

You dived in to the real story of it all yet?

Fascinating time in history

I watched the Samurai doc on Netflix. Fascinating culture, enriched by a beautiful language and it's reverence for duty and self - sacrifice.

Yep, we've discussed it on here before, so just Google William Adams.

Finished Dark Matter, what a great show.

Ended really well too so surprised it’s got a second season.
