Milfner
Wow. Sat there just blankly watching the credits. Didn't know what to do. The only other time I can think of TV stunning me that much was season 3 of Breaking Bad. Incredible. By the way, this was after some dick on twitter had ruined it for me. maqroll
They chose wisely to not play any music while the credits rolled, for added effect. Top marks HBO

DiegoD
Having read the book I wasn't shocked the events, but they did an amazing job pulling off the Red Wedding. I do wonder if it will put people off the show like it put people off the books.

If anything that enhanced the impact, knowing what was coming but not being able to do a thing about it, nor could I turn away. I just had to sit there in disbelief having convinced myself that it couldn't happen. Awful, brilliant, loved it. Up there with THAT scene in breaking bad (yeah I know, pick your favourite!). Zatman
Just finished season 2 of GoT but the Starks really are an irritatingly whiny boring family.

Stevo985 Posted June 5, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) Quite a few people do [find Mad Men boring]. I think it's just one of those shows. You either love it or you "don't get it" (I don't mean that in a derogatory way. I just mean it's not "for" some people) Edited June 5, 2013 by Stevo985

Although I will go as far to say that I think Don Draper is a ridiculously overrated character.
