Watched the Savile documentary.

Thoroughly fascinating but utterly repugnant and depressing.

Not gonna lie, a few tears were shed.

I fast forwarded past that woman's account. Too painful to listen too.

It's a devastating indictment of the British establishment. The guy was quite openly a predator and repeatedly admitted it on camera for years.Beyond belief that he was held up as a virtuous hero. Sick.

But...you can see how he got away with it. He was very clever, or as he put it,  "tricky". Very shrewd operator and master manipulator. And he had charisma.

And he was one of the most dangerous men in Britain walking the streets.

Total narcissistic psychopath.

Were any of his enablers ever brought before the court?

The Last Days Of Ptolemy Grey was absolutely brilliant. One of my favourite shows in the last 12 months.

Samuel L Jackson & Dominique Fishback deserve all the awards. Fishback is going to be a star.

Finished The Morning Show s2, thought it was pretty weak in the end

Spoiler

Source material of Covid could’ve been done so much better. Also thought they shoehorned in a BLM storyline and that could’ve been covered better too. Too much time spent on the character of Alex, who just isn’t very interesting.

Mastermind final on BBC 2.

The guy who came last with ten after the specialist round got 17 on general knowledge!

Wow the woman who won the first round with 14  smashed it with 19 second time round

I watched the first episode of The Girl from Plainville - 'The true story of Michelle Carter's "texting-suicide" case, exploring her relationship with Conrad Roy III and the events leading up to his death, and, later, her conviction of involuntary manslaughter.' - Was quite good, Elle Fanning is good in her role as the title character.

Finally finished Vikings and overall it was pretty good but I still preferred The Last Kingdom.

Spoiler

However, the episode containing the death of Bjorn Ironside was brilliant and I like they ended with Uber in America.

I could not take to Ivar the Boner at all though.

Opposite for me, I couldn't get into The Last Kingdom after I finished Vikings - seemed like a poorer version.

I liked the mythology of Vikings but preferred the historical elements to Last Kingdom, that and the ridiculously accented lead Utred, son of Utred!

both were entertaining enough for me.

I’ll be interested to see how different the movie The Norseman out this week is.

The Northman you mean?

Robert Eggers is a genius so hopefully it'll be great.
