I enjoyed it but I've seen more realistic Harry Redknapp tax returns. Yeah I'm getting this. I'm loving it but it is utterly absurd really. It's amazing how many properly serious serial murderers/terrorists are committing these crimes all the **** time. But also very convenient of them to do it one after the other with no overlap Luckily Luther guesses everything right all the time, so it's all fine. I do love it, but I find myself moaning about it quite a lot to the other half. "Why is his flat so shit?!"
PieFacE Posted April 18, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted April 18, 2017 (edited) Anyone watching the new Leftovers? Surprised it doesn't get more love. Incredible series. Re-watched the first two over the bank holiday, fantastic stuff. Silicon Valley is great too, the last "middle out" episode of the first season is one of the funniest things i've ever seen Son's of Anarchy is trash. A hardcore gun selling motorcycle group who are continuously breaking the law but somehow always skint, just makes no sense. If they spent time trying to find jobs instead of hugging each other every 20 seconds they'd all be much better off. JB
Better Call Saul is so **** good. First 15 minutes of latest episode: Spoiler Los Pollos Hermanos! Has been coming for ages but still had a big dumb grin on my face at the reveal!

Designer1 Posted April 18, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted April 18, 2017 American Gods is getting some rave reviews. It's never going to be as compelling as the book but it sounds like it'll be good at least.

wazzap24
2017 is shaping up to be another amazing year in the golden age of TV. Legion was utterly amazing Leftovers returning to amazing reviews Twin Peaks is nearly here American Gods Stranger things later in the year. Ray Donovan to return during the summer. And that's not even sctratching the surface. The world might be going to shit in many ways, but TV wise - what a time to be alive!
HanoiVillan
On Luther: I stopped watching after the first episode, because it seemed to suffer from the 'Korean soap opera' problem of scenes set outside, that were meant to be in the real world, yet had no extras in them. I find that too distracting to watch. Does that ever improve?

I do love me a good dystopian story.
