tonyh29
Interesting to see that the BBC are not being allowed to report on protests in Manchester according to the many twitter feeds on this. I suspect that "outrage" would have been a plenty if this had happened under previous Gvmts, how things change And yet it is on the BBC web page for all to see Still if its on twitter it must be true : deadpan:

Security staff have refused BBC access to film, on the instructions of police. There needs to be a full investigation of the trail of instructions for this, and the people responsible need to be held to account.

drat01
So Tony - willing to state you were wrong? _ I suspect not Anyway ignoring the obvious attempts to deflect, I wonder what other protests there will be this week and how they will be dealt with and reported. It could be an interesting conference. It seems that a tribute of sorts to Thatcher will be a common thread throughout the conference according to various sources
tonyh29
Good to see the 2 ex army hecklers at the Tory party were allowed to speak and not arrested under the terrorism act like Mr Wolfgang a few years ago at the ah but party conference

Re the Army hecklers I notice you don't discuss the grievance they were talking about - why is that exactly? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/defence/10342609/Philip-Hammond-heckled-over-army-cuts-at-Conservative-Party-Conference.html Interesting bit of that article "Mr Hammond asked the two former soldiers to let him finish his speech as Col Brazier shouted: “This is denial, not defence - you're a disgrace.” The pair were then escorted out of the conference hall by security." So Tony - willing to state you were wrong? _ I suspect not Oopshttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-24286582 So Tony even though you have been shown "evidence" you persist with stating it was a lie - amazing

drat01
So Tony - how do you react to the Army protesters and the points they were making - given what the Torygraph is reporting (which actually conflicts your previous post) Also how do you react to the proven info that the BBC was stopped in reporting the protests - do you think that this was acceptable? (and please no further personal abuse - eh?)

bickster Posted September 29, 2013 Author Moderator Share Posted September 29, 2013 free prescriptions for all cancer patients was introduced in 2009, blah… It really wasn't , the 2009 policy was only certain cancer drugs, many were still denied treatment Cameron's policy extended the drugs involved that NICE hadn't approved I know you claim to be neutral in politics but your anti Tory sentiment is shining through right about now If fairly sure if you read the original post I said it was only an extension of the policy Labour started, yes it added a few more previously unavailable drugs … I'm anti all three parties s you also know. Never claimed to be neutral though as I have opinions
