Don't know if it is accurate but that would probably be half of what Carragher was on. No chance will he be leaving the money train to earn 50K at Liverpool! was out of contract at City so probably had no otehr offers He signed up awful quick, wouldn't you say? Who else was going to offer him more than 50k a week? Off the top of my head Im sure there ould be a lot of takers in the USA, UAE or Russia. He would have a lot of options being a free agent. I think he would have continued to put in high level performances for us. While he would have been earning more than most I'm not sure we'd be desperate to get rid.
